0) Previous Minutes:
- ratified the minutes at http://annodex.org/wiki/Committee/Meetings/2006_10_09/
ACTIONS:
- Silvia to lock minutes and send to membership
1) Incorporation:
- Silvia reported that she has reserved the name "Annodex Association Inc" with the NSW Fair Trading department
- we now need to work over the constitution (replace the name) and then go and incorporate it
- Silvia suggest changing the names of the positions of "chair" and "vice-chair" to "president" and "vice-president", because the have a better ring to them - no objections
- the new constitution is at http://annodex.org/wiki/Constitution
ACTIONS:
- everyone to give new constitution a final proof-read
- Silvia to go incorporate
2) Planning the next AGM and elections:
- this present committee has been in place for a year - when we will be incorporated, we need to have an AGM and elections for next year's committee
- a time around FOMS/LCA was deemed a good time
Date: Friday, 12th January, after FOMS at James Squire Brewhouse, leading into incorporation party
3) members.annodex.org:
- delayed to next month
4) Other business:
- Andrea has created a new Annodex Association logo in two versions, one with "Inc" and one without; the committee voted unison to use the one without "Inc"
- Ralph Giles of Xiph.Org has offered to host a backup on Annodex code and websites on Xiph.Org
ACTIONS:
- Silvia to replace the old logo with the new on annodex.org
- Shane and Conrad to organise the backup scripts with Ralph
