1. Approval of last meeting minutes

  • approved by Conrad and Silvia

2. Action items review

  • Shane: try to extract membership list from member_man's db, and set up a manual list
    • not yet - will be done before end of month
  • Silvia: Chase up and report on DGR process
    • email sent to list - will likely be very difficult to actually obtain DGR status
  • James: move member_man to sqlite
    • not yet
  • Silvia: Arrange meeting with CSIRO about hand-over of trademark, documents and source code
    • CSIRO is still being unresponsive on this. Silvia will send another email
  • James: to give improvement of Annodex wikipedia page a go
  • Silvia, Shane to contact Rillian about xen servers
    • done, we have 2 shiny new xens!
  • Conrad to email Opera guys about oggplay plugin API
    • some discussions on #whatwg
    • probably better to wait until firefox stuff sorted out first
  • Michael Dale to get back in contact with Mozilla guys
    • done - Chris Double using oggplay and keen to attend next FOMS!
  • Silvia to send plugin API to whatwg mailing list
    • Shane to respond instead
  • Silvia to contact Mozilla foundation about sponsorship
    • Michael Dale to kick this off
  • Silvia to update web page with issues, etc.
    • not yet

ACTION: Shane to email whatwg mailing list about APIs (consult with Conrad on #annodex)
ACTION: Michael to make initial contact with Mozilla foundation about sponsorship

4. Servers & Systems

  • we need to move:
    • www.annodex.net
    • www.annodex.org
    • cmmlwiki (media.annodex.net)
  • we have 2 xens (provided by rillian)

ACTION: Silvia to send Shane details about the xens
ACTION: Shane to send Silvia an SSH key
ACTION: Shane to move www.annodex.org and cmmlwiki to xen server with more memory THIS WEEK
ACTION: Silvia to move www.annodex.net to other xen server THIS WEEK

5. Activities

  • annodex codefest 16th June
    • thanks to Dennis Crowdy for an awesome location!
    • may be able to use this room again
  • there will be a talk at SLUG on 29th June too
  • foms site up, first cfps have gone out
