The short version

You can read annodex.org without handing over anything. There is no shop, no account, and no profile built behind your back. A server still records a few technical things as you visit, and this page is honest about what those are.

Links to other sites

Pages here link to services we do not control. Once you follow an outbound link you are on somebody else's property and their policy applies, not ours. Read it before you hand over anything personal.

Tracking, or the lack of it

There is no ad network and no cross site tracker on these pages. A browser might still hold a few harmless technical values so a page renders right; clear or block them whenever you like and everything here still works.

How information is used

To run the website, answer messages, see which articles people read, guard against abuse, and keep things reliable. Nothing beyond that. Ordinary access needs no sensitive detail from you, so please do not send confidential material by email unless we have agreed how to handle it.

Minors

Nothing here is aimed at children, and we do not knowingly keep any information from a visitor under eighteen.

The records kept

Serving a page means logging the basics: the URL, a timestamp, an approximate region derived from your connection, the browser and device type, and the referring page. That log keeps annodex.org reachable and helps catch misuse; it is not tied to a name. Correspondence you start is held while it matters and deleted afterward, and we never add you to a list.

What you can ask for

Reading costs you no data at all. Should you think a record about you exists and want it deleted, send enough detail to [email protected] that we can locate it; we clear what is ours to clear and are straight with you about anything we cannot.

Any meaningful change to this notice is marked by the review date below being brought up to date.
